Al-Qusayfi Receives Magda Dagher's New Book

Joseph Al-Qusayfi, the head of the Journalists' Syndicate, received poet Magda Dagher, who gifted him her new work titled "Another Direction for Time: Research and Approaches in Thought, Criticism, Literature, Modernity, and Media," published by the Jordanian "Ward" publishing house. The book was presented to him by journalist and writer Samir Attallah. Dagher's book addresses various topics ranging from thought and poetry to modernity movements, media freedom, linguistics, literary criticism, and the role of media in promoting women's value against commodification. Al-Qusayfi thanked his colleague Dagher for her visit and for presenting her new work, praising her "elegant pen and her graceful style in addressing the subjects with a spirit of innovation, without shying away from courageously highlighting what she perceives as flaws that distort the essence of values and distort modernity at the hands of 'new influencers' who impose their rhythm on contemporary lifestyles and patterns."
