Arrests and Raids on Homes of Those Involved in Incident in Hermel

The Army Command – Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: Following an incident that occurred in the town of Shawaghir - Hermel, which involved gunfire, a unit from the army, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the homes of those involved in the incident and arrested citizen (A.S.). They seized military weapons, RPG shells, and a quantity of ammunition, in addition to military gear. The confiscated items were handed over, and an investigation with the arrested individual is underway under the supervision of the competent judiciary, while efforts are ongoing to apprehend the other individuals involved.
