One of Algerian star Riyad Mahrez's cars was involved in a traffic accident in Chester, northwest England, as reported by "The Sun" newspaper. The British newspaper published images of the crash involving Mahrez's car, without indicating whether the Algerian star was driving at the time of the incident.
The report stated: "Riyad Mahrez's supercar, an Audi, was left covered in scratches after the crash." It continued: "The left-hand drive Audi RS6 collided with a white truck in Chester, and it is said that the collision occurred on Thursday, June 27." The report noted that "it is unclear who was driving the car during the incident."
Images show the black car, valued at £220,000, which suffered significant scratches on the front wing on the passenger side. It also appears that damage was sustained on the front passenger wheel, with another image showing the car being loaded onto the back of a tow truck.
It is worth mentioning that Mahrez currently plays for Saudi club Al Ahli, having joined them in the summer of last year from Manchester City, where he spent six successful seasons.
