Support for Lebanon: The Egyptian Ambassador Tours the Airport

The Egyptian Ambassador, Alaa Moussa, stated in a remark at the conclusion of his field tour at the airport that he "familiarized himself with the work mechanisms there, inspected several facilities, and listened to officials about the details of operations, particularly concerning imports and exports." He emphasized that "our presence at the airport today is a message of support for Lebanon, and we call for de-escalation and reducing tensions as much as possible," considering that "the main objective is to end the Gaza war, and certainly, achieving this will lead to the cessation of other fronts." Moussa confirmed that "the Telegraph newspaper is responsible for what it published based on unidentified sources," noting that "I do not have the authority to inspect Beirut Airport, but what we heard from the officials there clarifies that the work process is proceeding according to good mechanisms." He expressed that "what we need in Lebanon and the region is de-escalation to reach solutions for many issues."
