Appointment of Nasser, Rizk, and Jirjian to Asian Basketball Federation Committees

The Lebanese Basketball Federation received three letters from its Asian counterpart, signed by the Secretary-General of the Asian Federation and Executive Director Hagop Khacharyan, announcing the appointment of Lebanese Federation Vice President Sami Nasser as a member of the Disability and Special Needs Challenge Committee, the appointment of Secretary General Attorney Charbel Michel Rizk as a member of the Legal Committee, and the appointment of Federation Treasurer Viken Jirjian as a member of the Financial Committee of the continental federation, due to their experience, competence, and diligent work for basketball. The appointments of the three Lebanese officials to the continental federation committees are for a four-year term (2023-2027). It is noteworthy that the President of the Lebanese Basketball Federation, Akram Halabi, was elected for a second consecutive term as First Vice President of the Asian Federation several months ago. Additionally, Secretary General Attorney Charbel Michel Rizk was elected Secretary General of the West Asia Federation at the beginning of this year.
