Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly stated that "the holding of an Egyptian-European conference comes in the wake of international tensions witnessed by the international community, in addition to ongoing regional crises that have affected the stability of several countries in the region." He mentioned during a panel discussion on the second day of the Egyptian-European Investment Conference that "these crises have posed a serious threat to the security and stability of many countries, including Egypt, apart from international challenges such as climate change and the impact of international tensions on the stability of production chains, along with the increasing role of modern technologies, particularly artificial intelligence." He added that "despite these issues representing serious challenges for all countries, Egypt seeks to address these issues and international crises from the perspective of the promising opportunities they present for comprehensive economic development and reform that enables Egypt to obtain its fair share of growth and comprehensive development."
