According to the official Israeli broadcasting authority, the leader of the right-wing "Jewish Power" party, Ben Gvir, remarked that "Gantz's resignation is a great opportunity to advance and achieve victory." He added, "We must move to the phase of decisive victory, and it is right that someone who demands the bombing of Gaza and halting the entry of Palestinian workers should be a member of the war cabinet," referring to his request to join the war cabinet following the resignations of Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot.
