Industry Minister in the caretaker government, MP George Bouchikian, launched sour juice at Domaine Wardy in the city of Zahle. This juice is a new product used in food, beverages, desserts, and ice cream to provide diverse and different flavors in cooking. Bouchikian announced that "these industrial activities at the beginning of summer, along with the presence of expatriates and tourists, add a touch and characteristics that delight tasters and enrich Lebanese cuisine with differentiating features." He explained that "the integration between the resident Lebanese and the visiting Lebanese, as well as between residents and expatriates, strengthens Lebanon's immunity and boosts the economy, industry, and tourism." He encouraged experts in new industries to "employ their skills, expand their investments, and seize opportunities."
