The United Arab Emirates and the Republic of the Philippines discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of human resources and various categories of labor. This took place during the fourth meeting of the Joint Technical Committee in the field of labor and domestic workers, held at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation in Dubai. During the meeting, the latest legislative changes governing labor relations and domestic work in the country were reviewed, including social protection systems included in labor laws, initiatives related to the welfare and quality of life for workers, and proper mechanisms for submitting and addressing labor complaints, in addition to strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of labor.
