Israeli President: I Support Any Agreement That Leads to the Return of Detainees

Israeli President Isaac Herzog announced today, Monday, that he will support any agreement that leads to the return of Israeli detainees held by Hamas. Herzog stated, in remarks reported by Channel 13, that "the strategic alliance with the United States will remain stable and steadfast above all political and partisan disagreements." Earlier, the Israeli army announced the death of two detainees held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
