Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, confirmed today, Sunday, that the government of former President Ebrahim Raisi was "a government of work, hope, and movement towards both domestic and foreign affairs." During a meeting with members of the thirteenth government (Raisi’s government), Khamenei stated that Raisi "was optimistic about the future and sought to achieve the desired goals with the help of government members." He added that Raisi's most important qualities were "his popularity, which should serve as a model for everyone, especially future governments." Khamenei continued that Raisi "set an example in governance through his behaviors, as he respected the people, was close to them, addressed their problems, listened to them, and made citizens' demands the foundation of his programs, while being a believer in the local capabilities and resources of the country, and being a clear revolutionary who did not flatter anyone."
