Martin Horgan, the CEO of the global company "Centamin," which operates the Sukari gold mine, confirmed that it is expected that over the next decade, 5 million ounces of gold will be extracted from the Sukari mine in Egypt. He stated, "Egypt has the appropriate capabilities, both from a geological perspective and the Nubian shield, in addition to having skilled human resources with expertise in the mining sector. Egypt is competing with several countries to attract investments in mining due to its political and security stability." He noted that "the company has launched three new initiatives to develop the mining sector in Egypt and is taking steps to establish a mining school in Egypt," adding that "Egypt has promising mining opportunities and distinguished human skills that will contribute to the growth of the Egyptian economy."
