New Zealand Announces Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Worth $5 Million

New Zealand's Foreign Minister Winston Peters announced that his country will provide an additional $5 million to the World Food Programme and UNICEF to deliver humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, according to the "Wafa" agency. In a post on the platform "X," Peters described the humanitarian conditions in Gaza as "catastrophic." New Zealand also announced last week the resumption of its funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), after suspending it in late January.
