"Al-Qassam Brigades" reported today, Monday, that they caused casualties among Israeli forces, killing and injuring individuals near the 17th Roundabout in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City. The "Al-Qassam Brigades" stated that their operatives carried out the operation by detonating a rocket made from remnants of the Israeli army against two Merkava tanks. Additionally, a report issued by the government media office in Gaza revealed the immense destruction caused by the Israeli war on the region. The report documented the destruction of hundreds of thousands of housing units and vital facilities. According to the report, the Israeli war on Gaza resulted in the complete destruction of 150,000 housing units along with facilities. The same source indicated that 200,000 housing units were partially destroyed, and 80,000 housing units became uninhabitable. The report highlighted that the Israeli army dropped over 80,000 tons of explosives on the sector. Moreover, 32 hospitals and 64 health centers were completely rendered out of service, while 161 other health institutions were targeted. The war also fully destroyed 114 schools and universities and caused partial destruction to 326 schools and universities.
