The official page of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior announced today, Tuesday, the "identification and apprehension of the perpetrator of the offensive phrases that were circulated on an advertisement screen in the Faisal area of Giza." It stated, "In the context of the efforts of the Ministry of Interior to uncover the circumstances surrounding the offensive phrases circulated on an advertisement screen in Faisal." It continued: "The security apparatus managed to identify and apprehend the perpetrator (an electronic screen technician), who confessed to committing the act under the incitement of the electronic committees run by elements of the Muslim Brotherhood currently in exile." The statement concluded: "Legal measures have been taken."
