Regarding the escalation in the north, Gantz stated, "I prefer political settlement and understand that war is a difficult option, but it will likely be necessary." Last week, Gantz announced his resignation from the war government, stating at a press conference, "We are withdrawing from this government because Netanyahu is preventing us from advancing towards achieving true victory in the war."
