Selling Fake Tickets for Basketball Matches: Have You Been a Victim?

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement: "Recently, there have been several fraudulent operations where unknown individuals deceive their victims by selling tickets to attend the finals of the Lebanese basketball championship. As a result of extensive investigations, the Beirut Police Station's members managed to identify one of the suspects. On 22-5-2024, after continuous monitoring, they apprehended this individual, identified as A.M. (born in 1990, Lebanese). During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him. Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, based on the court's directive, is distributing his photo and requests anyone who has fallen victim to his actions or has experienced a similar operation by another individual in a similar crime to report to the stated police station or to call the number: 740942-01 to take the necessary legal actions."
