Crime Shakes Baghdad: Father Tortured Daughter to Death!

A security source revealed today, Friday, that a girl was killed after being tortured by her father due to family disputes in the capital, Baghdad. The source told "Baghdad Today" that "security forces became aware of a deceased girl at Al-Furat General Hospital in Baghdad, and it turned out that the deceased was named (M.M.A.), born in 2015." The source indicated that "the victim's father brought the girl to the hospital, and upon conducting a visual examination of the child's body, it was found that she had multiple injuries all over her body. After investigating her father, he confessed to severely beating his daughter with a blunt instrument (a cleaning stick) and with his hands, as well as hanging her and torturing her, which led to her death at home. He then transported her to Al-Furat General Hospital to conceal the signs of the crime, reporting it as a natural death." The source highlighted that "the father tortured and killed his daughter due to his separation from the child's mother (his first wife)."
