# Egypt Showcases Its Power with

The Arab Organization for Industrialization in Egypt announced today, Monday, its participation in the "EDEX - 2023" Defense and Military Industries Exhibition, in its third edition, with a large array of new weapons. The organization stated: "The pavilion of the Arab Organization for Industrialization participating in the official pavilion of the Arab Republic of Egypt features the latest technologies and products in defense industries, showcasing 45 diverse products including ammunition, missiles, electronic equipment, and aircraft."

It continued: "In line with the organization's commitment to maximizing the 'Made in Egypt' slogan and benefiting from advanced manufacturing capabilities and the brilliant minds of its human resources, it presents its latest defense products, including:

- Aerial Ammunition (Hafez Family): Free-fall bombs weighing up to 2,000 pounds, with the capability to penetrate reinforced concrete up to 180 cm, produced in collaboration with the Egyptian Air Force.

- Mobile Command and Control Center: A multi-mission facility for controlling combat operations, securing airspace, borders, and important installations, wholly designed and manufactured in Egypt.

- Armored Riot Control Vehicle (Qader-1): Produced for the first time in Egypt at the organization's factories, providing B4 level protection and resistance to 7.62 × 39 rounds, equipped with numerous features according to the requirements of the Egyptian Ministry of Interior. The capability to fulfill any specifications based on client requests is available.

- Drone Countermeasures and Electronic Warfare System: Developed in collaboration with technical research teams from the Air Defense Command and Electronic Warfare Management in Egypt, designed and manufactured systems for detection and countering drones up to the tactical level. With the collaboration of the Electronic Warfare Management, a drone countering device was manufactured to secure naval units at different ranges, as well as reconnaissance and electronic jamming devices across various frequency ranges.

- New Egyptian Radiological Detection and Measurement Device: Considered a product of collaboration between chemical warfare units and the Arab Organization for Industrialization. For the first time in Egypt, such devices are being manufactured, with two models produced: one serving military uses up to the sub-unit level and the other serving civil sectors at ports, border crossings, and airports for radiological detection of imports.

- Strengthening cooperation with the French company Dassault to produce some aircraft components manufactured within the Arab Organization for Industrialization's factories for Dassault. This is a step towards qualifying to enter the global supply chain system for aircraft manufacturing. One of these parts was showcased by Dassault at the Labourgée exhibition in France, and there will be a strong continuation in this field with other global companies."

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi attended the opening of the International Exhibition for Defense and Military Industries "EDEX 2023" and participated in a commemorative photo with the participants.
