The Ministry of Agriculture condemned in a statement, in the strongest terms, "the airstrikes launched by the Israeli aggressor targeting a goat farm in Toura Mountain - Jezzine region, which resulted in the death of hundreds of goats and caused significant damage to the farm, while divine providence prevented human casualties." It continued that "this aggressive act constitutes a blatant violation of Lebanese sovereignty and international law, causing substantial harm to Lebanese farmers who struggle to secure their daily sustenance and preserve their agricultural and animal wealth." The Ministry of Agriculture called on the international community and international human rights organizations for "immediate intervention to condemn this aggression and ensure accountability for those responsible." It also urged the provision of support and assistance to farmers affected by the repeated Israeli assaults to compensate for their losses. The Ministry confirmed that it "will continue to work in collaboration with the relevant authorities to ensure the protection of farmers' rights and the preservation of agricultural and animal wealth in Lebanon."
