The Cairo Criminal Court convened in Abbasia has decided to refer the case of the defendant accused of killing three Egyptians in Qatar to the honorable Mufti for a legal opinion on his execution. A session has been scheduled for September 8 to announce the verdict.
The court listened to the arguments of the prosecution representative, who stated, "The defendant betrayed the bond of friendship and committed a heinous act after being hosted by the victims, who honored him and provided him with a flight ticket to assist him."
He added, "The defendant allied with the devil and conspired to commit a crime that shook humanity, and a strict sentence must be issued for retribution against him."
The referral order indicates that the defendant, a 43-year-old ceramic tile worker from "Marjoushi" village in Beheira, Shubra al-Khaimah, Qalyubia Governorate, intentionally killed the victims while they were hosting him at their residence in Qatar using a sharp weapon (a knife), inflicting fatal stab wounds that settled in various parts of their bodies with the intent to kill them, resulting in the injuries detailed in the attached forensic report, which led to their deaths as outlined in the investigations.
