Russian media reported today, Tuesday, that "units of the army participating in the special military operation have begun testing new military robots designed to counter drones." Denis Oslumenko, director of the Russian company "PPSH Laboratory," stated: "Some units of the Russian army involved in the special military operation have started testing new robots equipped with Triton electronic warfare systems, which are used to suppress drones." He added: "It is dangerous to send medics or rescuers to evacuate the wounded in some combat areas, as they may be exposed to enemy fire or the threat of FPV drones. Hence, the need arose to develop robots equipped with Triton systems. We currently have two types of robots equipped with these systems: robots designed to accompany assault teams and medical teams, and robots dedicated to accompanying other military robots. During the special military operation, robots equipped with electronic warfare systems have also been tested, designated for accompanying evacuation robots and mine-laying robots." It is worth noting that "Triton systems are Russian electronic warfare systems capable of jamming FPV drones and operate in the +800 and +900 MHz ranges. There are several versions of these systems, including portable versions and versions that are mounted on vehicles and military equipment, and these systems can be remotely controlled, providing greater protection for their operators."
