The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants condemned, in a statement, "the massacre recently committed by Israel in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in hundreds of martyrs and injured, following two days after the targeting of a school belonging to UNRWA that shelters Palestinian displaced persons in the same camp, where dozens of martyrs and injured were also reported, most of whom were women, children, and the elderly." The ministry viewed that "these attacks represent a serious and clear violation of international humanitarian law and international legitimacy resolutions, prolonging this crisis and undermining any opportunity for a fair and comprehensive solution that allows for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, based on international legitimacy resolutions, the Arab peace initiative, and the two-state solution." The ministry called on the international community and the United Nations to "act immediately and decisively to stop these massacres and attacks, to put an end to this humanitarian catastrophe, and to pressure Israel to comply with relevant international legitimacy resolutions and international humanitarian law."
