Real Madrid decided to showcase the features of the "Santiago Bernabéu" stadium after its renovation during the presentation ceremony of French player Kylian Mbappé. On June 3, Real Madrid announced the signing of Kylian Mbappé on a five-season contract. According to the Spanish newspaper "AS," Real Madrid is scheduled to present the Mbappé deal on July 16 at the "Santiago Bernabéu" stadium. It noted that the Bernabéu is expected to be completely full, especially since entry for fans on that day will be free.
The report explained that Real Madrid intends for Mbappé's presentation to take place under a closed roof at the Bernabéu, a feature added to the stadium following the renovation. Mbappé left Paris after seven seasons with the team, during which he achieved more than 15 domestic titles, in addition to finishing as runner-up in the UEFA Champions League in 2020. Paris paid €180 million to sign Mbappé when he was a young player at Monaco. The player is currently in Germany to participate with the French national team in the Euro.
