Iraqi security forces continue their pursuit of Arab networks that disrupt social security. An security source in Baghdad reported last night, Tuesday, the dismantling of a prostitution network comprising Iraqis and individuals from other Arab nationalities, which was operating out of a house in the capital. The source indicated that "information was received about a house in the Bab Al-Muadhim area (Al-Sabunjiya) in central Baghdad, being exploited by the homeowner for prostitution." It was pointed out that "a task force was formed from the Bab Al-Sheikh police department, the fifth emergency regiment, and Bab Al-Sheikh intelligence, which arrested the homeowner, who is Iraqi, a Syrian individual, a Palestinian, and two girls." Additionally, the source mentioned that "the detainees initially confessed to engaging in prostitution, and legal actions were taken against them."
