Saudi fighter Hatan Al Saif defeated Egyptian Iman Baraka in a match held on Friday during the second round of the first season of the Professional Fighters League (PFL) in the Middle East and Africa. Despite Iman Baraka’s efforts to resist Hatan Al Saif's strikes in the first and second rounds, she decided to withdraw before the third round of the match, which took place at the Green Sports Hall in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
With Baraka's withdrawal, Hatan Al Saif achieved her second consecutive victory in the PFL for the Middle East and North Africa 2024, following her knockout win over Egyptian fighter Nada Fahim last May, making her the first Saudi woman to win in the league. Hatan Al Saif is also the first Saudi woman to join a global mixed martial arts organization.
