Title: Army Commander Discusses Developments in the South

Army Commander General Joseph Aoun received in his office in Yarzeh the Director-General for Neighborhood and Enlargement Negotiations at the European Commission, Geert Jan Koopmans. They discussed the general situation in Lebanon and the region, as well as developments along the southern border. The Army Commander also welcomed the Secretary-General of the Tashnag Party, Deputy Hagop Pakradounian, where they discussed the overall conditions in the country. Additionally, he received a delegation from the Association of Veterans of the Armed Forces, headed by retired Major General Nicolas Mzahr, to address issues concerning retired military personnel.
