Harris Admits Debate Was Not Biden's "Shining Hour"

U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris indicated that "President Joe Biden was not in his shining hour during the televised debate with his predecessor Donald Trump that took place last Thursday." Harris stated, "But I say this with complete confidence: We will win the election," noting that "Trump poses a threat to democracy, and therefore the stakes in the upcoming November elections are higher than ever." The U.S. Vice President mentioned regarding the debate day that, in reality, "nothing changed because of one day in June." According to Bloomberg, "Biden admitted to his wife Jill that he didn’t know what happened in the debate," explaining that he was not feeling well. It is worth noting that last Thursday marked the first televised debate between current President Biden and former President Trump.
