The Kyodo news agency reported that the weather agency stated the quake was felt by residents in several cities, including Katsumi, Isumi, and Chiba. It was noted that the earthquake's epicenter was located 50 kilometers deep in Chiba. There were no reports of casualties, injuries, or damage.
