A security source in Iraq's Nineveh province confirmed today, Thursday, that an explosion occurred at an arms depot on the Iraq-Syria border due to "increased temperatures." The source told "Baghdad Today" that "explosions took place inside an arms depot in the sixth area located between the Iraq-Syria border." It was noted that "the depot belongs to the Iraqi border guard forces and exploded as a result of high temperatures," leading to injuries of two members of the guard with various wounds. Earlier today, a security source reported hearing a loud explosion on the Iraq-Syria border west of Mosul.
