The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" confirmed last night, Wednesday, that the car ramming incident that took place in Nablus, resulting in the death of two individuals, is an extension of the escalating anger and resistance in the West Bank. The movement stated in a message through its Telegram channel that "the heroic car ramming operation carried out by one of our people's heroes last night near the Awarta checkpoint southeast of Nablus is a natural response to a criminal enemy that commits massacres without any regard for values, norms, and international laws."
The statement added: "The crimes of the Nazi Israeli from Rafah to Jenin, and the stream of blood flowing from our children, women, and elders will remain a curse that haunts him. The spark of resistance is not intimidated by massacres, nor will the flames of its fire be extinguished by aggression."
Hamas continued, "We bless this heroic and courageous act, and we affirm that the eyes of resistance are vigilant and lurking for the enemy everywhere to liberate the land and sanctities and restore rights despite the Israeli's defiance." The movement called on "our people in the West Bank and occupied territories to further engage in resistance actions in all forms and to confront the Israeli army and its settler mobs with strength across all our occupied lands."
The Israeli army announced that two Israelis were killed Wednesday evening in a "car ramming incident" near Nablus in the northern West Bank. The army released a brief statement reporting an "automobile attack" outside Nablus near an Israeli settlement. According to Israeli media, the army immediately began pursuing the individual suspected of carrying out the operation, which occurs against the backdrop of an ongoing war between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
