Russian forces have reinforced their positions and advanced further in the northern and eastern regions of Avdiivka, while Ukrainian troops continue to retreat on multiple fronts in Donetsk. Recent reports indicate that Russian troops have taken control of the strategically significant town of Ochritynа, particularly after securing the areas of Berditchi, Novobakhmutivka, and Semenivka in that axis. They have also captured the areas of Novobakhmutivka and Saloviuva south of Ochritynа.
To the north of Avdiivka, Russian forces have continued their advance in the towns of Novokalynovo and Keramik amidst the retreat of the Ukrainian army. West of Avdiivka, the Russian army took control of the center of Krasnohorivka, raising their flag at the tile factory, thereby controlling more than half of the city. Reports also indicate that Russian forces have advanced further and better reinforced their positions in the Chasiv Yar area, particularly in the eastern part near the Donetsk Canal.
In this axis, Russian troops have captured several Ukrainian sites, trench networks, and a line of forests located to the north of the eastern part of Chasiv Yar, as well as a key strategic hill known as "Mount Baba." There are reports of Russian advances in the Kharkiv region, where they have taken control of half of the town of Kyslivka.
On another front, Ukrainian Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko reported that Russia targeted Ukrainian energy facilities in three regions on Saturday, resulting in equipment destruction and at least one worker injury. He added in a post on Telegram that the Russian strikes targeted the Dnipropetrovsk region in central Ukraine and the Lviv and Ivano-Frankivsk regions in the west of the country.
