The "Taekwondo Fighters Academy" organized a friendly championship in the disciplines of Poomsae and Fight, under the supervision of the Lebanese Taekwondo Federation. The event was hosted by the Lebanese Golf Club in the Jnah area and included 100 male and female participants of all age categories, representing five clubs: Sporting Beirut, Al-Ta'adod Mazra'a, Hobbs, the Lebanese Australian Club, and the Golf Club.
The championship was attended by the President of the Lebanese Golf Federation and the Golf Club, Karim Slim Salam, as well as the organizing club's president, Noel Makhayber, along with the families of the players. Notable artistic performances showcased the athletes' preparation and training methods, especially among the younger age groups, indicating a promising generation with talent and competitive abilities.
At the end of the event, a medal distribution ceremony was held for all participants, conducted by Salam, who expressed his pride in these athletes, who are expected to excel in the future. He extended his gratitude and appreciation to the President of the Taekwondo Federation, Dr. Habib Zreifeh, for his wise leadership that has led to high achievements in the sport, making it a source of pride for all Lebanese people. He also thanked coach Makhayber for his efforts in training the Golf Club's taekwondo team, which consistently achieves commendable results in local and international competitions, highlighting the role of parents in supporting and encouraging their children to pursue the sport.
