The Filipino crew of the "Tutok" ship returned to their country from Bahrain on Monday after the vessel was attacked by the Houthi group near the port of Hodeidah last week. The Houthis claimed responsibility for a missile attack on the coal tanker Tutok, owned by a Greek entity and flying the Liberian flag, near the Yemeni port on June 12. The ship had a crew of 22 Filipinos, and one of them remains missing in the flooded engine room. The ship's captain, Christian Domaric, stated in a press conference at Manila airport: "We need first to rest due to the shock... We will take a few months to recover before returning to sea."
