Relays Race at Pine Palace on March 1st... 150 Days Until the Paris Olympics

For the second consecutive year, as the countdown to the Summer Olympic Games in Paris begins—150 days before the opening of the Olympics—the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the organizing committee of the Olympics are hosting a "Relays Race" around the world in collaboration with French embassies and consulates in 133 countries. The event will take place between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM local time in each country across the five continents, including in the courtyard of the "Pine Palace" in Beirut, Lebanon, for 24 hours leading up to Friday, March 1st, under the slogan "Land of Games."

The French embassy in Lebanon, in collaboration with "Sports Academy School," will organize this sporting event, which will be attended by French Ambassador to Lebanon Hervé Magro. The relays race in Lebanon will highlight the importance of sports and Olympic values among Lebanese youth. It will involve directors of Francophone schools (eight in total), teachers, and students from schools and universities (three universities), alongside professional athletes, including some who have previously participated in the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
