Iraqi Factions Target US Base

Iraqi media reported that "armed Iraqi factions targeted the US base Al-Tanf in southern Syria with drones." The Iraqi resistance announced the execution of a "drone attack on the US base Al-Tanf for the first time in 5 months." The air defenses at the Al-Tanf US base, located within the 55 kilometers zone at the triangle of the Syrian-Jordanian-Iraqi borders, intercepted a drone entering the area from the eastern side as it attempted to target the base, resulting in its destruction. This attempt to target the US base comes less than 24 hours after airstrikes targeted Iranian group positions last night in Albu Kamal near the Syrian-Iraqi border, which resulted in the death of 3 individuals in a preliminary toll.
