Title: Inspection Reports by the Economy Department in the South

Economy inspectors in the South conducted a tour today, Wednesday, and issued three inspection reports against factories and ice cream and juice shops. They collected 12 samples for microbial analysis, and upon receiving the results, it was found that three samples did not comply concerning total coliform, total viable count, and staphylococcus bacteria. Consequently, reports were drawn up against the violators, requiring them to cease operations of the non-compliant products and to immediately rectify the issues, particularly regarding the maintenance of water filters and the washing and sterilization of fruits according to standards, to allow for new samples to be collected under the supervision of the head of the Economy Department in the South, Engineer Maysaa Hadrage. In another context, a report was issued against a generator owner in Salhiya for charging a price per kilowatt higher than the official rate, while providing false receipts to subscribers.
