French President Emmanuel Macron has invited the heads of parliamentary groups and parties represented in the parliament to a "series of discussions" on August 23, aiming to form a government. A statement issued by the Élysée Palace noted that "the appointment of a Prime Minister will be based on these consultations and their outcomes." The statement emphasized that "the French expressed during the early legislative elections in July their desire for change and a broad gathering, hoping to move forward towards forming the widest possible and most stable majority to serve the country," according to the statement.
