Asian Women's Basketball Championship: Philippines Defeats Lebanon

The Philippines women's basketball team (under 18) won against Lebanon with a score of (89-63) on Tuesday afternoon during the second day of the Asian Under 18 Championship (Division B), which is being held in Shenzhen, China, until June 30. The quarter scores were as follows: (25-14), (44-25), (59-39), and (89-63). This marks Lebanon's first loss in the continental championship, after the Cedar team had previously defeated Syria (20-0) on Monday. They will face the Maldives on Wednesday at 2 PM Beirut time in their final match of the first round. The participating countries in the continental championship are divided into two groups as follows: - Group A: Samoa, Iran, Hong Kong, and Kyrgyzstan. - Group B: Philippines, Lebanon, and Maldives (Syria withdrew from the championship).
