A security force from the state's authority stormed a cheese and dairy factory in Arab Salim and sealed it with red tape after it was found that there were bacteria and traces of human feces in the water used for making dairy products. In Marjeyoun, another factory was closed by state authority for not meeting health standards. Additionally, five other water bottling factories were sealed this morning, in the presence of a representative from the Ministry of Economy, after harmful bacteria were detected in the water. Investigations are currently underway with the owners of these factories under the supervision of the southern public prosecutor, Judge Rahif Ramadan, to clarify the matter. It was stated that "the campaign by the directorate in the field of food safety is ongoing, and the negligence occurring among some factories and traders is more dangerous than some might imagine. We urge citizens to be vigilant about the sources of their food purchases, ensure their quality, and report any suspicions."
