Israeli Opposition: Netanyahu's Government "Crazy and Failed"!

Israeli Opposition: Netanyahu's Government

Amid recent reports about Minister Benny Gantz in the war government of Israel planning to withdraw from Benjamin Netanyahu's government, Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid described the government as "crazy and failed," calling on Gantz's "National Unity Party" to "leave the war government." He stated, "The National Unity Party, led by Gantz, should withdraw from Netanyahu's failed government," emphasizing that "the leader is also responsible for the failures, and not just boasting and taking credit for achievements." Lapid also believed that "Gantz is the one who kept Netanyahu as Prime Minister in this bad government." He added, "Netanyahu's government has no known political goals, neither in Gaza nor in Lebanon."

For its part, Israeli media reported that "Gantz is conducting political consultations today, Sunday, regarding the timing of his resignation from the government," while the newspaper "Maariv" quoted sources close to Gantz indicating that "his withdrawal from the government will happen in the coming days." Gantz was set to hold a press conference yesterday to announce his withdrawal from the war government before announcing its delay, as the Israeli army managed to rescue four "living" hostages during an operation in the Nuseirat camp, which resulted in more than 200 Palestinian casualties.
