Moscow Expels Employee from Romanian Embassy: The Reason!

The Romanian ambassador to Moscow, Cristian Istrate, was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry and handed a note regarding the decision to expel an employee of the Romanian diplomatic mission in response to Romanian actions. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated in a statement that the declaration of one of the embassy employees as "persona non grata" is a response to an unjustified decision previously made by the Romanian side to designate a diplomat from the Russian embassy in Bucharest as "persona non grata."

The Russian embassy in Bucharest rejected the allegations against its employee, describing them as unfounded. Moscow warned that it would respond to this action from the Romanian side.
