Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi asserted the necessity of unifying efforts to reach a comprehensive political solution that meets the aspirations of the Sudanese people. In his statements today, Sunday, Sisi said: "We are keen to coordinate and cooperate with all regional and international partners to resolve the Sudanese crisis." He added: "We will exert our utmost effort, whether bilaterally, regionally, or internationally, to address the repercussions of the crisis by providing all forms of support that reflect the special nature of Egyptian-Sudanese relations." He continued: "We continue to send a large number of humanitarian aid shipments to our brothers in Sudan, in addition to hosting millions of Sudanese brothers in Egypt," emphasizing "the necessity for all parties to participate in the political transition of the crisis according to the Sudanese national interest above all else."
