A large explosion occurred in a shopping center in the city of Nasim Shahr, west of the Iranian capital Tehran, resulting in the injury of 4 individuals. Ali Mohammadi, the head of the firefighting and safety services in the Nasim Shahr municipality, announced that the explosion took place in a residential unit located on the upper floor of the building, causing injuries to 4 people who were taken to the hospital, including 3 teenagers and the owner of the residential unit, whose condition was described as critical. Iranian media reported that the incident was caused by a gas cylinder explosion, while a firefighting official stated that the affected shopping center was old and unsafe, and it was not connected to the city's gas network, as the commercial and residential units within it used gas cylinders.
