One person has died, and eight others are missing due to flooding in central China. Authorities in Changsha, Hunan Province, are still dealing with the aftermath of continuous rain that has flooded the area. According to reports, the rainfall has not ceased for two weeks, resulting in over 100 millimeters of rain across 814 towns in 14 cities and provinces. In recent days, many parts of eastern and southern China have been affected by the persistent rainfall, leading to casualties, crop damage, and road closures. Local authorities have raised emergency response levels to mitigate the impacts of the severe weather conditions, according to Xinhua News Agency.
