The Sun Will Be Directly Above the Kaaba Tomorrow

The Qatari Calendar House has announced that the sun will be directly above the Holy Kaaba for the second time this year tomorrow, Tuesday, at 12:27 PM Mecca time. At that moment, the shadow of the Holy Kaaba and the shadow of objects in Mecca will almost disappear. Dr. Bashir Marzouk, an astronomical expert at the Qatari Calendar House, stated that the phenomenon of the sun being directly above the Holy Kaaba is one of the precise methods for determining the Qibla direction in countries where the sun is above the horizon at noon prayer time in Mecca. This is done by placing a vertical pole on the ground, and the Qibla direction in these countries is exactly opposite the direction of the pole's shadow at noon prayer time in Mecca.
