The General Directorate of Civil Defense reported today, Monday, that "a fire was extinguished that broke out inside an apartment located on the third floor of a residential building in Chiah - Southern Beirut suburb, with the assistance of the Fire Brigade at exactly 5:00 on the date of today, July 22, 2024." The Directorate added, "Simultaneously, the personnel worked on transferring the injured to Al-Jaitawi Hospital, and the body was transported to Bahman Hospital." It continued, "Another party took over the transfer of injuries caused by inhaling the thick smoke resulting from the fire."
