Netanyahu Risks Hostages' Lives... A Negotiation Team Member Reveals

The Haaretz newspaper reported that a senior member of the negotiation team stated that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu "is recklessly risking the lives of the hostages and is deliberately trying to obstruct negotiations." For his part, Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi noted that "we continue military pressure to reach a deal that will return the captives under good terms." Netanyahu's office informed members of the security cabinet yesterday that "there has been progress in the negotiations for a prisoner exchange." Netanyahu has declared that "he is not willing to concede victory over Hamas under any circumstances. If we concede, we will be at risk from the entire Iranian axis of evil."
