A woman and her nephew were killed, and six others were injured in an Israeli airstrike on the town of Haneen in southern Lebanon. The strike targeted a two-story house, completely destroying it.
Details of the incident reveal that Israeli warplanes executed the airstrike at approximately 5:30 PM today, Tuesday, targeting the home of citizen Ahmad Ali Qachqash, firing two ground-to-air missiles at it.
Emergency teams from the Islamic Health Authority, the Islamic Scout movement, and civil defense arrived on the scene to search for survivors under the rubble. They managed to rescue five injured individuals, who were transferred to "Martyr Salah Ghandoor" Hospital in Bint Jbeil. Additionally, the body of an 11-year-old girl, Sarah Qachqash, was recovered, while the body of citizen Maryam Qachqash was found under the debris over two hours after the airstrike.
