Based on Article 23, Paragraph B8 of Decree No. 9806/2013, which grants the President of the Conservatory, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of the Institute, the authority to organize examinations in coordination with the department heads, and after discussions with the Minister of Culture, Judge Mohamed Wissam Al-Mortada, the President of the National Higher Institute of Music, Heba Al-Qawas, issued a memo to resume the end-of-year exams for the 2023-2024 academic year for Conservatory students, covering all specializations in instruments, vocals, and mandatory secondary subjects in the Eastern and Western music departments, starting from Friday, July 5, until Wednesday, July 31, inclusive, at the main center in Beirut.
On the occasion of declaring "Tripoli the Capital of Arab Culture for the year 2024," and exceptionally for this academic year only, the piano ensemble exams and the fourth-year curriculum exams and above for the northern branches will be held exclusively at the Tripoli branch. This aligns with the event "Tripoli the Capital of Arab Culture for the year 2024," which the Conservatory will support, preparing for special musical cultural projects related to this occasion.
